Service area
From the Adelaide CBD down to Victor Harbor
Adelaide CBD, the inner south, the southern beaches, the City of Onkaparinga, McLaren Vale and the Fleurieu Peninsula through to Victor Harbor.
Five areas
Pick the one closest to you
Each area page covers the local parks and beaches, the relevant council, and the dog problems that particular geography actually produces.
27 suburbsAdelaide's Inner South
Small blocks, shared fences and footpaths full of people. The inner south asks a lot of a dog.
Dog training in Inner South
26 suburbsThe Southern Beaches
Beach walks, esplanade crowds and off-lead hours that catch people out. Recall matters more here than anywhere.
Dog training in Southern Beaches
35 suburbsAdelaide's Southern Suburbs
The heartland. Close-set housing, shared fences, and more council barking complaints than anywhere else I work.
Dog training in Southern Suburbs
22 suburbsThe Southern Vales
Vines, acreage and one of the best dog beaches in the state. Different geography, different problems.

25 suburbsThe Fleurieu & Victor Harbor
Hardest part of the state to find proper behaviour help. That is exactly why I come down here.

City of Mitcham
Mitcham
Heritage blocks, hillside streets and the Brownhill Creek trail — where most Mitcham dog problems show up.
Dog training in MitchamCity of Unley
Unley
Courtyards, terraces and the busiest dog-friendly cafe strip in Adelaide. Settling in public is the local skill.
Dog training in UnleyCity of Holdfast Bay
Glenelg
Apartments, Jetty Road crowds and a beach that changes character with the tide of tourists.

Brighton
The esplanade walk is why people move here. It is also where most Brighton dog problems become obvious.
Dog training in BrightonCity of Marion
Hallett Cove
The boardwalk is spectacular and genuinely narrow. A lunging dog there is a safety problem, not an embarrassment.
Dog training in Hallett CoveCity of Onkaparinga
Morphett Vale
One of the biggest suburbs in the state, and the densest dog population I work with. Fences and barking dominate.
Dog training in Morphett ValeCity of Onkaparinga
Happy Valley
Newer estates, smaller yards, closer neighbours. Barking complaints land here more than almost anywhere.
Dog training in Happy ValleyCity of Onkaparinga
Noarlunga
The estuary, the Coast Park path and Colonnades. Great socialisation country if you use it deliberately.
Dog training in NoarlungaCity of Onkaparinga
Seaford
Fast-growing estates, first-time dog owners, and narrow footpaths where a trigger appears with no warning.
Dog training in SeafordCity of Onkaparinga
McLaren Vale
Acreage recall, vineyard boundaries and dogs that need to behave at a cellar door on a Sunday.
Dog training in McLaren ValeCity of Onkaparinga
Aldinga Beach
One of the best dog beaches in the state — and a completely different place in January than in June.

Local one-on-one behaviour help, without the ninety-minute drive to Adelaide and back.

Six councils, and they all do it differently
The corridor runs across six councils, and their dog rules are genuinely different from one another. People cross a boundary mid-walk without noticing it all the time.
The City of Onkaparinga is by far the best resourced — eight designated off-lead beaches and four fenced dog parks, including Minkarra Park at Happy Valley with agility equipment, a small-dog area, toilets and water. The City of Holdfast Bay has four off-lead beaches with seasonal time restrictions and one fenced park at South Brighton. The City of Marion has Hallett Cove Beach plus two fenced parks.
Inland is patchier. The City of Unley lists seventeen off-lead reserves and not one fence, which is generous and puts every bit of weight on your recall. The City of Mitcham has one off-lead area and a fenced park at Panorama. Down on the Fleurieu, the City of Victor Harbor has a fenced park and a foreshore off-lead area, with Alexandrina and Yankalilla running their own rules again.
Each area page below breaks this down properly for its own councils. All of it is current as at August 2026 — councils do add and re-designate these areas, so check with yours, and the signage on the day beats anything written here.

What I help with
Every service, everywhere in the corridor
Dog Obedience Training
Your dog already knows "sit". The question is whether they do it when a magpie lands on the fence.
Learn morePuppy Training
Everything your puppy learns in the next twelve weeks, they will believe for the rest of their life. Worth getting right.
Learn moreBehaviour Consultations
Some problems do not respond to more training. They respond to understanding what is actually driving them.
Learn moreReactive Dog Training
You have started walking at 6am so you do not meet anyone. That is not a walk, that is a covert operation.
Learn moreAggressive Dog Training
If you are frightened of what your dog might do, you need someone who will tell you the truth rather than sell you a quick fix.
Learn moreSeparation Anxiety
The neighbours have mentioned the howling. The door frame is destroyed. Your dog is not being naughty — it is genuinely panicking.
Learn moreBarking Dog Training
Barking is a symptom, not a diagnosis. Six different problems produce the same noise — and they need six different answers.
Learn moreIn-Home Dog Training
Your dog does not misbehave in a training hall. It misbehaves at your front door. So that is where we work.
